ROTJ Blaster help / measurement needed . . .

Slave I

Could anyone throw out some measurements from their MR blaster?

If you could post a pic with measurements in CMs that would be really helpful. If nothing else, I'd love to know what the ribbed portion of the barrel comes in at, not including the coned emitter part. I know there's a slight tilt on the real deal but the MR should still come close for what I need.

I have checked, double checked, and triple checked based on the ref pics, and not all of my measurements are matching with the templates. Most noteably, it seems that the template barrel length is different? Can anyone confirm?

Thanks, but I'm really wanting to see what the length of the ribbed section would be on the MR--a little more definitive (though it wouldn't be tilted).

Maybe this will help?

Here is what I came up with. The overall dimension for the t-rail section is 9.5".

P.S. because of the size of the pic you'll most likely need to view it full size to see everything clearly.

Thanks guys.

Now the thing is . . . some are saying 8 inches, some saying 9.5 inches, and that's the problem I've had previously. Big discrepency on the opinion on how long the barrel is. That's why I was hoping someone with an MR could jump in and say what that barrel comes in at.

The pic with the measurement is the kind of thing I'd looking for, only not with someone's replica (i.e. that person's best guess). What would be good would be an overlay of the real thing, or, again, the MR.

So can anyone with an MR measure that finned barrel section?

If I remember correctly the 9.5 was based on dimensions from the MR that someone sent me. I'll look through my reference material and see if I can confrim it.

Getting old sucks I can remember half of what I should.

I couldn't find the MR reference, but here is a comparison overlay that I did of my drawings to the real deal. I'll keep searching for the MR data.

I can get you measurements off my MR when I get home from work.

Didn't think so . . .

I'd be okay with springing for an MR if they weren't so heavy. I hefted one and knew there was no way I wanted to use it for my mannequin and risk it slipping out of his hands.

I've had three blasters already. I want this version to be my final build :) .

You can shave a couple of pounds off the MR by replacing the scope, which isn't accurate any ways. The scope weighs almost 2 pounds!

And I forgot the measurements! :facepalm

Wrote myself a note!

This is a pic of the real EE-3.

My measurements are based off my MR EE-3 so this pic will show what measurements I am referring to. Sorry no time to get a pic last night of my own MR. I'm a firefighter and I was busy last night.

1. 3/8"
2. 1/8"
3. 2 3/16"
4. 1/2"
5. 9 5/16
6. 13/16"

Let me know if you need more measurements. :)
