awesome job! i like the black splatter and uneven black mist on the edges... that's a detail i completely missed my first time 'round.

nicely done :)

so you just literally splattered it with a toothbrush? was it spray paint or acrylic paint? It's an amazing paint job you've got there. I wish mine was a nice!

yep with a tooth brush... i used acrylic, i practic alot before trying on a scrap piece of sintra to see how the paint will lay.

toothbrush or kitchen type scrub brush both work. anything with stiff bristles. i use acrylic for that, since if i mess up i can wipe it off while its still wet :)

Gbeef - Nice! I love the layered paintjob / tones and overall misting... very impressive bro, you should be very proud. ;) 8)

Thanks mojo.. your armor spideyfett, darthsmiller where the threads to check out. I have to go back and lay a scratch layer on the armor. and was thinking about adds a white dust layer... but im not sure...

The AOSW looks like it has white but i cant tell because the color are off on the pictures and it was shot behind glass. So i may just leave it be and toss a scratch layer on.

went back over the armor with some grey.. ill post pics when its nice out ( the weather sucks out here its been raining for days!). Also here are the completed knees and shoulders.

Very very nice bruv...! those knees and shoulders look spot on!
The weathering around the knee dart launchers really sets the Ali parts off... ;)

WOW! Very nice paint job Jackson! I hope mine comes out half as decent as yours!(y);)

i tried a tooth brush.... but its very hard to control

You can go to Michele's and pick up an inexpensive fan brush, it will allow you a "finer" spatter effect. You can get the brush in a variety of sizes, from soft to rigid. I use a pencil to run the brush over to create the spatter rather than using my finger...better control ;)

Hope this helps for future projects(y)(y)

Cheers!
