How does my cape look? Besides weathering is the color okay?

The color looks a bit bright. I don't know what fabric you are using but it isn't too tough to go to an Army/Navy store and get a half shelter to cut up.

The size is good, I believe its 32" by 30" but id check the 501st to be sure of that;). The color on the other hand IS quite bright. I would buy a canvas sheet that is army green, and then you can weather it with a pizza cutter and black spray paint.

Yes, try an Army/Navy store if there is one in your area. I picked up my half shelter for about $12, and a pizza cutter works great. I'm very happy with the way mine turned out.

Awesome. I used scissors, a pizza cutter, sandpaper and a lighter to distress mine. Then I used some spray paints to finish the weathering.

My pizza cutter wasn't strong enough so I just randomly took scissors to it. I like the lighter and spray paint idea.

Nice job! Turned out really nice and the color is spot on now! I still need to distress mine. Can't tell from the photos, did you scratch build the gauntlets?

Throw it the washing machine a couple of times and line dry it(preferably on a windy day) to literally weather it. Work pretty well for mine

Awsome! That's the cape we are looking for. BTW, if you ever question your work you can make a stop by the 501st costuming page and look under the radar regulations for you costume. It was very helpful for me when I did my ROTJ fett build:)
