Ready to paint ESB Gauntlets

Hi I just acquired a pair of ESB gauntlets from Man of War Studios unpainted. I'm ready to begin painting. Can someone offer some guidance as how to do a realistic paint job. I do not have access to an air brush (sadly to say) so will have to either manually paint by hand or use spray cans. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading.

There is a ton of reference and instruction on the site. Most guys wash their parts with dish soap, maybe some sanding with a fine grit paper. Look up "rattle can colors" or "esb spray paints" or "painting esb gauntlets"
