and a question, Kidney, Cod, and Backplate

nah...I like 3 coats of silver, then dry time to cure. Then mask out whatever in the armor case summer squash same stuff rusto painters touch, followed by hunt club green painters touch, u can do spruce green satin under parts of the hunt club on the left side theres parts that show through, then on top of the hunt club matte clear then flat black misting, grey misting as well and I also like a little earth brown camo paint its super flat

So you clear the green and weathering first, then mist the black on top? I tried on some scrap plastic and I don't think the misting looked right. It's going to be impossible to match the cucblack pieces I have but I think my greens need to be darkened more than it is.

Wow that's interesting. I actually did it the other way around. I primed it, sanded, silver, matte finish, light sand, masking fluid, then yellow, sand, matte finish again, sand, masking fluid...then rinse and repeat. After all my painting was done, I did all my weathering including the black mist and pastel chalks and then did a layer of matte again at the very end to seal it all together.

That works as well RKD, good idea to seal the weathering and then hit it with some 0000 steel wool...to dull it again as the clear will brighten it a little
