    Question :Diver Belt Usage

I've been poking around the threads, but haven't found a definitive answer.

Is the Diver's Belt connected to the JP to assist in keeping it in place?

I've seen pics where I can't see any sign of the belt at all, possibly because it goes under the vest a bit. I did find a thread indicating the Diver's Belt WAS present in ESB. I've got one on order from KorN, I just wanted to get suggestions on attaching it to my ESB JP ( if it does in fact go there).

    Thanks everyone !

Not the jet pack but the harness. Then the harness keep the jet pack correctly.

Look at the PP#2 jet pack on the wiki and you will see that it has two hook on the bottom part of the jet pack. The harness fits in them.

Thanks very much for the help. I have a FettDad harness, I'll have to look and see if the belt will attach to it somehow, otherwise I may just attach it to the JP.

A buddy of mine actually uses velcro to keep his pack on and it really works. His pack may be light though, I believe he got a Bradley JP a couple of years ago.

    Re: Question :Diver Belt Usage

with the way jet packs are being made these days, there is no need to have a harness system like was used in the movies...impractical, and cumbersome...the fact that these jp's are only like 6-10 pounds, all you need is something that holds it up, and then holds it to the body/backplate to keep it from swaying back and forth...with my harness you got brother, and attaching the diver's belt to the jp and bringing to the font of your body and buckling it there, is plenty to keep that jp secure...
