Question: Attaching Gauntlets together?

Hello all,

Quick question....I just finished putting my gauntlets together. I made them from cardboard using WOF's templates. I am wondering what you guys think is the best way to attach the top to the bottom. I dont think the cardboard will take hinges too well. I was thinking some elastic maybe. I am not going for total movie accuracy . Any tips from the masters would be most apprieciated. thanks

Hello man, there is 3 ways to putting together, 1) by clips, 2) by velcro and, 3) by, I show you my picture.........

The glue I reccomended for unit the pieces and gets a better look is mastique for car painting, is a glue type cream thats works for paint finish.........coming in red and you can use a lija to pulish...any quiestion I will be avaible to help you.see you

It would probably be a good idea to fiberglass the inside of the gauntlets first if you want to use them to troop. Cardboard will absorb sweat and be flimsy by itself. One you fiberglass the interiors I would suspect you could close them any way you wanted.
