Gotcha. Thought that was how you did it. You are using the accurate metal clips? And it doesn't tug on your collar armor? Awesome. I have a MOW harness (which doesn't have the 'bar' support) and was planning on attaching my belt to the pack bottom, but had read that it sometimes 'chokes' you by bringing up the collar armor.

When fettdad made harnesses like this that was the issue people ran into...the JP presses on the bottom of the backplate and naturally that pulls the top of the backplate back and the collar goes with it. Id have to look for pics but I had that issue when I first wore mine....it works just not as well as the rig...its like comparing a backpack and a rucksack...
This one is free floating it doesn't affect the vest at all what do you guys thing of the blaster so far? The metal takes so much longer to cut Into than wood lol
The blaster for being wood looks really good...FYI the ROTJ blaster wasnt metal and there is no silver on the blaster. Theres REALLY good pics in the ROTJ gallery of the blaster.
As far as your collar it certainly does ride back into your neck...as you can see right here in the pic. Notice the gap between the collar and chest armor this is exactly what I was refering to. Everyone with soft harnesses has delt with it.
Going to D*Con also. Friend of mine is Chewy of the 501st. Yours looks great! I will keep my eye out for you. Mine won't be finished in time, but definitly next year.
Tithe collar isn't from the jet pack it's fett pride v4 and the collar and back plate don't fir me very well that's where it naturally sits when the harness is on it doesn't touch the vest at all so it didn't make it ride up at all . And the blaster I'm not leaving it silver I'm making it our is metal because it won't break that way hence the metal it will be about the sane wait as the real gun
First coat of black i really only got about two days I worked on this the main body is metal the barrel is PVC the t tracks are resin and the stock is wood
Thanks man yea sorry I should have been more specific I do metal casting for my job I make replica pirate flintlocks. So I just started with the base wood to get the shapes cut out. I'm trying to gunk it up to make it look like it seen painted a lot. I planon actually getting a nice clean kit and making it again this was just a quick build because boba has to have a gun! Lol
