Presta valves

I don't know if this has been said before but I think the larger rod on the bottom of the Pre Pro Sling gun looks just like a Presta Valve. A simple google search will show what i mean.

They do look very similar. I will have to see if I can get one to fit up to the model I am making. And thanks for those pics. They actually support what I have been saying about the Kaiser logo being covered up with some kind of silver plate with some kind of colored dots or trim

Maybe, maybe not. You've selected one model and obviously there are variations but I think there are a lot of simularities. I was aware of the Super Trooper list but that doesn't mean these valves aren't a good idea. I still think they might be a good fit for a build.
 
Long shot but I emailed J.A. Michell and asked them for help. Maybe it will work or maybe it won't but it doesn't hurt to try I guess.
 
They actually responded and offered to help. I sent them pics of the underside of the sling gun, the 2 high quality pics of the Proto suit as well as pics of the side plate for the UZI to see if they can ID the little silver piece and maybe even the yellow things. The yellow things bug me cause I can't find anything like them anywhere. Nice of them to offer to help regardless.

I got a response back from Steve at Michell. He said they don't have anyone left working there from the period but basically the production/prop people would just come down , go through parts at their facility and then fit them to props as needed. He said the pointy parts on the underside of the sling gun could be a " terminal thread " with a " terminal cap" on it but that was just a guess. He said the red piece on the side of the uzi could be a Hydraulic Reference Motor top plate spacer - I still have to try and find a picture of one of those. He didn't know what the 3 yellow things were. He was nice and detailed in his explanations and I asked that if he every comes across anyone with info to let me know. I am determined to figure out what those yellow things are lol.
