PP2 Armor Vest

Hey there everyone, I'm hoping someone can clear something up for me. I'm in the midst of starting my jumpsuit and vest for my PP2 Fett. However, I got a high res, VERY large pic of PP2 fett, and upon close inspection, it looks like the vest is made of some sort of vinyl or something of that type. It looks very shiny, like in a rubbery kinda way, not a metallic kinda way, if that makes sense Thanks for anyone who can clear this up for me.

Tackle twill is the fabric that is most commonly used and it has a sheen to it. I'm not sure what the material is made of, or where you can get it, but I see them pop up in the cargo hold quite often. Good Luck!
