Ponte's ROTJ Special Edition Ver.3 Photo Shoot

Ponte

Active Hunter
Finally got around to photographing my ROTJ Special Edition suit with decent lighting (i.e. - Not a convention) to track my progress between my first suit (Celebration V, 2010) and now. All of the armor was upgraded to Fettpride, better soft-parts were acquired and tailored, and overall paint-jobs were more accurate. I can honestly say I've come a long way, but this isn't the end of the road...there are no doubt more and more ways (I can think of at least 5 off the top of my head) to improve on the suit, and until I can get it looking near identical to the promo shots of the SE suit, I'll constantly strive to obtain better parts, and apply better paint methods. It's been an immensely fun (and nerve-racking) experience, and I'm hoping my next full-build thread will be of the finalized suit.

Holy cow! That is a work of art. The extra tailoring really brings it together. One of the things consistently sticks out to me is people wearing flightsuits shaped awkwardly for their body, and it detracts from the whole aura. Yours however, is done very well. Kudos!

Looks WAY better in the first pic...think its the Photography though :p
I miss your face (totally ****)

I'm always in awe of your work brother...and cbrant, EXACTLY Ponte's flightsuit has had TONS of trips to the tailor!

Great Pics Brother! Amazing craftsmanship as always. You look like you just picked yourself up from the skiff before falling into the Sarlaccpit on Tatooine.

Thanks for sharing

Oh Fett 4 Real...I'd give you a bro hug, but you're like a bajillion miles away.

And yea dude, the fact that I had to spend about as much on tailoring as the cost of the flightsuit was a bit ridiculous, but at least I have the measurements down for my next suit ;)

A good tailor is hard to find. I may have to hit you up on where you went for that. I need some tailoring on my flightsuit. Photos look outstanding, btw!
