Thanks guys. I have now finished the stock layers and have cleaned and rounded off most of the pistol. I found out that I made a pretty big mistake. For some stupid reason I did not make the stock layers on the right side long enough. They were supposed to go all the way to the inner edge off the D connector but I made it to go on the outer edge instead. It is not that big of a problem all I have to do is fill that in with some bondo and problem fixed. I mite just leave it like that since it is a custom rifle. I don't know. Other than that it is coming along vary nicely. All I have to do now is clean up and round off the stock and I will be finished with the pistol/stock and ready to attach the barrel and other details.:D

Wow, That's a great complement. Thanks. I could start making them for people but I would have to think about it for a while this thing was dang hard to make. My fingers are still hurting from cutting the layers. I think it is time for me to get a jig saw. I think that's the one, i always get the saw names mixed up:lol:

Holy cow Phantom this is turning out fantastically! I cannot wait to see the end result. How are you gonna attach the grip and stock to the barrel?

I plan on trying to make it ware i can interchange barrels gluing a piece of pipe on the stock/pistole and then just slip the barrel on and off for storage and i may want to make another barrel someday.:D

That's a good decision. No sense in wasting this much time and effort on 1 blaster when you can basically have 2! An ESB barrel will be easier to make that the ROTJ one.

I am almost finished. I just have to figure out what I am going to do about the pistol details. I am having a problem with the clamp piece ware the barrel meets the pistol. The original plan was to try and recreate a whole clamp piece and fit it over the barrel just like the real thing well, I made the clamp and formed it to the barrel but since I made it so the barrel can be detached it is not going to work out. So what I am doing now is putting the lower detail of the clamp on the pistol and leaving the barrel as is for a quick and smooth fit. The thing is I think it looks a bit odd. Not to bad but I wanted to get some opinions from you guys before I glued them on permanently. What do you guys think?:D

I do believe that I solved the problem. I cut down one of the clamp pieces that i made and glued it to the barrel it self. Now when I attach the barrel it looks like it is part of the other details. What do you guys think? Still needs a lot of clean up done to the details to make it look all right but it is coming along nicely i think.:D

Thanks guys:D

I had doubts my self at first but it is coming out pretty nicely. The details on the pistol did not come out like I had planed but I am happy with the results. I am almost ready to paint. Just finished rounding and smoothing the details out. Just need to think about some gribleys for it and the pistol/stock will be done. I still need to get the grip for the barrel after all that it will be ready for paint.:D
