A while back some one was selling Pre-pro sling gun kits. Who is this person and does he have anymore? If not does anyone else have one that they would be willing to part with?

A while back some one was selling Pre-pro sling gun kits. Who is this person and does he have anymore? If not does anyone else have one that they would be willing to part with?
I was wondering if anyone has ever drawn up plans for the sling-gun? I have the photos in the Star Wars Chronicles, is there any other good source of reference for this weapon. Thanks.
I believe GA offers kits of this gun. Someone here may be able to help you out, I know one was up for sale not long ago...

Yes I had posted not too long ago about it. There is someone on here who makes them. Wait long enough and he will contact you.
I got mine on the mail today. He said it was going to take like 14 days it took like 5. I am really pleased with it. Yes it needed some work, edges trimmed up a little bit, but I knew that going into it so everything was cool. Now what I want to see is how some of you who have this have painted it.
Not that I know of. I've been looking for one as well.
I'll email him tonight and let him know you guys are looking. I dont think he spends too much time on this board.
I bought one from him alreday. I got it in hand and it is really nice. I will try to post some pics of the completed thing later today or tomorrow.
I hate to say it, but I'm looking for a kit too. It would be great to find a source for one soon...

It's actually mine. GA did have it at one point, but I've been asked about it enough recently that I went ahead and made a nice set of molds so I can offer it myself. I used the CHRONICLES book and a great photo from a Calender (of all things) for reference.
The above picture is one of the castings that's been primed. I personally like it better than the one used in EMPIRE, I think it just looks a little cooler.

I'm doing a ROTJ suit, but already have a sling gun that I want to carry along with my EE-3 just cause the gun is so cool. What's the best way to carry this bad boy? Holster like some of the action figures? Slung over the sholder on a strap?
Over the shoulder with a strap on the stock just like the PrePro suit it came from.

so far I have seen three blasters for Boba not counting the differnt versions of the EE-3

I might be intrested but I think the little trigger button should be on the front of the gun not on the back.
The trigger position is odd, I agree. It is based on the action figure and pre-pro photos. A thumb trigger. Weird, like on a joystick. The other sling being offered on TDH is very nice, awesome actually...it is like the difference between Maroon and Cabernet used on ROTJ gauntlets...hmmmm. Very similar, but different.

I based it on an UZI, which was the weapon he was holding in the white fett pic. I beefed up the barrel a bit and got rid of the silly metal stick and circuit board. Let me know what you think.

I'm going to be working on my kick rump pre pro blaster kit, but I was trying to find pics of the actual to base my paint job on it... Since the online CD is out for the time being, does anyone know of a place online where there are good pre-pro pics?

Do guys think I could turn a Nintendo Zapper into one? im juts wondering how I could attach the little PVC to the gun itself, I know I could proboly make the back part easy, but any ideas on attchment?
Bore through the back-end with a large drill bit, push a dowel rod in and JB Weld the heck out of it! Use Balsawood, Pine or layers of Sintra with Bondo as a butt!

Hey guys I've got one of the sling-gun kits and I was wondering if you guys could help me out...
Anybody have any pics of the prepro sling-gun? I've got the card board stand up, but you can't make out much of the detail or even the color used.
What sort of sling would I use and how would be the correct may to conect it to the gun?

So I have some questions to bring up about the PrePro blaster.
Looking at various images, there looks like their were 2 different versions of the prepro blaster. A Black and silver version with a red trigger, and a blue and silver verion with a charred barrel.
Now the Black and silver version I've only seen in two cropped images... Does this version show up in any promotional shots, or is it just a replica someone made with different colors?
