A couple of weeks ago i did a heavy blaster for my fett outfit. The other day i knocked this out in a few hours time and made a sniper rifle for the outfit. I picked up the donor gun at KB toys for 10 bucks. Cut and extended the scope with some copper pipe. Cut out and stained a wood stock for it. Misc sized pvc tubing, washer, and a few greeblies and paint. Its just over 5.5 feet long, longer then my mg42 with the silencer that i added at the end of it.

I made a set of aluminum westars but my grip is not aluminum.
I used my sons Rubies blaster as a pattern. Make a Xerox copy of the blaster, cut the grip out and use it as a pattern.
Remember the barrel of the Rubies is short by 1 1/2"

Hope these help

At the web slinger's suggestion I am working on a tutorial on how to build the ESB version, but it'll be a couple weeks before it's done.

Cheers!

I ran a search and came up with nothing.

Could someone give me a little help with how to attach a scope to the barrel of your gun ESB style. I know about the blaster/scope blocks and if i can get my hands on some i will, if not i'll make something similiar. But I really dont know the order to put things on and how to attach the scope. Anyone help will be very much appreciated.

try this: http://www.jedi-academy.com/fett_rifle1.html

it may not be totally accurate but its a great start.i used some of thier ideas for mine and its starting to look pretty good.i think the best thing to do is use it as a guide.study what ESB rifle pics that are out there and take a look at some members ESB blasters.there are some really awesome ones in here.

good luck.

I lightly sanded the blaster first, primered the whole thing and gave it a few coats of black. Then i gently misted it with some chrome paint to lighten it. The scratches were done by carefully scrape it with a paper knife and a silver pen. Rust were done with Gouache color and my index finger;)

Let me know what you think.

Thanks, Mikael

Hi, this is my first post to this forum. I have been a 'lurker' for a few weeks now. I have just completed (more or less) a completely new blaster design based on the E-33. This blaster is BIGGER.

I just put up my website with lots of detailed pics, blueprints and a tutorial. Check it out:

Click on the Boba face.

There's not much else on the web page, but I am also working on a scratch-built helmet tutorial. I should have it up in a few weeks.

Just an update...I just repainted my blaster after looking at the real Webley at a Football game in Columbus GA, where the GA 501st were present at the opening ceremony. This guy was dressed as Boba Fett ROTJ, and he had a real Webley configured as a ROTJ blaster.

He told me (actually, he sold me the paint he used) which was a TAMIYA TS-38 Gun Metal, a Japanese brand of spray paint. It made a great difference on my blaster, and it looks even more real than before.

This paint you could use two coats and you don't even need a sealer for it, and dries really quick. It comes in a 100ml can just like the Testors/Model Master brand, which you'd probably need two cans just in case. I love it, specially the way it came out....fantastic! Posting pics really soon.

Here they are,

It gives the blaster a dark-grey, dark-silverish looking effect to it, which makes it look like a real Webley when you have it for the first time. I'm not sure about weathering this one, even though I have a spray can left for emergencies, but it looks so good like that now...I love it!

Here is a blaster that I am working on at the moment. It has three different barrels. The one below is the one I am working on now. It is for my custom mandalore. I started to paint today. The grip plates are going to be black acrylic I think. Not quite sure yet. I mite paint them fire red to match my helmet color scheme.:D
