"Official" ammo belt dimensions?

I had always thought that the width of Boba's ammo belt was about 2", but I'm seeing others who are making it at 3" wide. Which is "correct"?

Through my CAD analysis I came up with 2.5" for a 6 foot Fett. That's the number I am basing my pouch templates on. But you may need to consider scaling that up or down depending on your hieght, but if you are between 5' 10" to 6' 3" a 2.5" wide belt should work prefectly.
