Not screen accurate, not TDH quality, but an awful fun father/son time...

I had to get over being embarrassed to post this here but after thinking about how much info I gained from this site and how helpful several folks here have been (some of them without even knowing it, just by virtue of what they've been willing to post here), I decided to go ahead.

I don't have the skills nor budget to make a top-notch rig like I'd like, but my son was/is happy and we had a good time. We have a couple more holiday events to attend and I'm sure he'll enjoy those as well.

I know there's so many things 'wrong' with our setups but we went with what we had and sometimes that's just ok. Some we knew beforehand and simply couldn't do any better given our situation, some we learned after fitting etc....so be it.

I'm sure a better craftsman and more time would've achieved better results but again, we had fun.

So, thanks again to the many members here. This is a great site with a wealth of information available.

Not sure why the 1st pic is attached sideways at the bottom.

You did a fantastic job! Glad you and your son had great fun. Never be embarrassed about posting a build or anything on here. Everyone here has different goals, some to have the most screen accurate build, some to have something for Halloween etc. but one common thing is that everyone here loves Fett.

Don't worry too much about screen accuracy (unless that's your goal of course ;) ) and just have fun. Again, great job :)

This is a great effort & nothing to be embarrassed about cause they look great. Just remember the memories that this created for your son & you out weigh anything else.
