I was looking at some reference pic for toe spikes when I came across this pic. Is it me or are there no toe spikes on the boots?

Looks to me like that image has been croped from its background(most likley the Bespin hallways),the spikes have probably been croped with the background.
That plus the fact that the toe on the left foot can hardly be seen,and the right foot is faceing away.
Another thing is they may well be that they had fallen off,as so much of the costume did on set. The knees were a constant problem!!

Not this pic but I know I've seen pics in the past that clearly show BF not wearing toe spikes. Like FMF said though with the knees, I have to believe that BF had all kinds of costume malfunctions are maybe the pics of the suit I saw with no spikes were stunt suit or something.

That shoot is from the Bespin Hallway set. He does have all 4 spikes in that set of photos. This one was cropped, and the spikes were cropped out like full metal fett said.
