Jet Pack No jet pack.

Hi can someone point me in the direction of a screenshot of Boba in the cockpit of Slave 1 without his pack on please? thanks.

Send Rafalfett a pm, he has a lot of pics and I think he has the one you are looking for.

The only images (so far) with the cockpit are already in the Gallery. If you look for a full shot of the back plate without the jetpack, there's one image from the ANH SE in ROTJ style:

And here are the images from the Gallery with increased luminosity for a better look on the cockpit:

Did Boba have a wife to follow him around to dress him each time he got in and out of the Slave 1?

Based on my experience, I cannot imagine any other way for him to get that jet pack off and on in a rush. :)

Excellent job, Raf.

I was hoping for stills from the production shoot, but I can definitely see more detail in your posted pics than ever before.

On a similar note, have we ever come across any interior shots of the Slave I cockpit?

I'm not an expert on the Slave I cockpit but I know there was a great interior shot somewhere in Star Wars Bounty Hunter the game for PS2 where Jango first gets the Slave I. It's a Lucas Arts game if I'm not mistaken so it seemed legit.

Hope this helps

I remember the game well. I still have it. There were all kinds of rumors that if you completed every challenge, you could play as Boba Fett!

Which was a lie.

Speaking of games, Raf, the title of this thread shows that you are clearly a heavy-duty philosopher.

Please tell me someone on this board can identify that reference. Please.

Hi Rafal,
I just happened to see this series of photos, and I noticed something odd at the base of the RF stalk.

It seems as though there is a brighter area at the base of the stalk. Looking at this picture at first
glance, it makes me think that it's an unweathered area. Or where the weathering has worn off from
the stalk pivoting up and down. It looks like when the stalk is vertical, this area would not be seen.
Not sure if this is already common knowledge or not, but it's the first time I've noticed it. :)

I already noticed that part of the rangefinder stalk and I thought it was common knowledge. Here are those areas on the other helmets too:

This difference between the 2 positions (vertical and horizontal) is visible because the stalk's base is not positioned at the right upper ear cap's arch, but much lower, this way the stalk looks longer in the 'down' position:

You are right about that part being partially weathered because of the stalk's repeated movement.
