Hello hello. I am Joe! I am longtime star wars dork, short time mando-armor afficionado. I am hoping to join the Mandolorian Mercs, by creating my very own suit of mando-armor. I need help! I don't even know where to start! Where do I get the materials to build the armor? How much can I expect to pay? How do I build it! What tools will I need!? These are the sort of questions that are floating in my mind! Any and all resources you all can point me to would be fantastic. Thanks in advance.

Hey Joe!

I'm clan Ver'alor over in one of the New England clans, and I've been with the mercs for about 2 years now.
I recommend NOT doing the trash can method. The plates end up looking like they're cut from a trash can (thin and lifeless). I'll tell you a cheaper and better looking way. PVC is the way to go. I work with PVC for my Fett plates, and they have the feel of depth I believe all mando plates should have. And if you have a Mando Merc account, my PVC plates can be seen here:
