New Bobamaker Ammo belt - Right color thread???

Hi all! I hope everyone had a nice holiday. I have a question for everyone. I think I know the answer, but I want to run it by some other folks before I make a decision.

I recently received my new BM ammo belt. It is very nice!! :cheers The accuracy of the pouches is stellar (the shape, size, and edges) and the weathering is great (I opted for some MoM flare). As usual, Daz has outdone himself!

I do have a concern though. I do not believe that the thread color is correct. The reference pics that I have researched, as well as the BM website, depict a cream/off-white thread color. This thread appears to be brown. Now, Daz has graciously offered to replace this belt with a new one since I am not 100% happy with the outcome. I just want some input before I make that decision.

Thanks.

Hey Mike,
Pic shown is a close up of the MOM belt and it does seem to have more of a weathered off white cotton than straight up brown?
Great that Daz would change it out for ya... (y)

Normally what I would do is use white thread and then take a cloth and put some light brown / yellow dye in it, sponge most of it out until its almost dry, then rub the residue over the thread. Its worked for me very well. I normally leave my belts white so the owner can do what he or she wishes.

As stated previous, Daz offered to fix this at no cost to me. He is paying for shipping both ways and said that he just wants me to be 100% happy with my product!

Bobamaker is a man of his word and is one of, if not the best, vendor I've dealt with!!

Cheers Daz!!
