Sith-C: SWEEEEeeeet. You gave it your Awl (no pun intended). Now did you use the 1.58 for width and depth or a variation? What did you use for the brown color on the vinyl? Ive been told by other board members that spray paint will hold as well as another option. Great job man.
Phantomfett: If you want to get rid of yours I'd give them a good home
Yep, can't possibly get any closer at this point. Just darker in color. Not to mention, as Tyler told me, less grain, and smaller stitching!
But I am offering both vinyl, and leather (for the real men!).
Being that these are so darn tiny, I don't think I'm I'm going to try for a functioning set. I just don't see the flap holding that shape, if it can open.
You know.....now that the pouches are actually much smaller, I wonder if the thread on my sewing machine may pass. Hmm....I'll have to try it tonight. It may look alright on the vinyl, but still probably not on the leather.
Seriously though, if there are any interested parties, just shoot me a PM.

Finally, the belts themselves. As you can see from the picture that Tyler threw together for me, there are some choices to be had with the belt.
Obviously, the middle picture speaks for itself. But as for the other 2 belts, I'm not sure which movies they belong to!
SC,are your belts going to have the threading in 4 rows across the entire belt? I thought it only had 2 rows (top/bottom),and the rear portion had 4 where the grommets go,.......6 grommets for the SE/ROTJ,and 2 grommets for ESB.
hey, im new here and im just starting to work on my first Boba suit. ive decided to do it in the Empire style and i have my jumpsuit all set mostly, theres a few nasty mishaps on it but it is my first. ive just set out on my belt and ive decided to go with vinyl for the whole thing. tomorrow im gonna go out and buy something (im not sure what yet) to start blocking out the pouches. ive got everything set for it so far except the blocks so when its done ill try and post some pics or links or something to get some feedback on my freshman attempt.
SC,the stitching goes all the way around, but I thought only the top/bottom(2rows) went all the way around, and the stitching got to 4rows only on the back section where the belt fastens.
