Need some help on first Fett Costume Build.

    Fellow SW and Fett Fans,

Im real excited about making a ROTJ Fett costume for first time. Even more excited to find TDH and its dedication to this. I need some help. Ive got the helmet, made a homemade Blaster, cape, Jet Pack coming from Mardon (MLC), Flak Vest and gauntlets coming from Ruffkin.

I bought some complete armor on ebay. Although its ok, after seeing what some people had out there I soon became disappointed with mine. What is the best armor out there but won't kill my wallet? Any direction would be greatly appreciated, I'm a newbie at this. lol

FP, Boba maker and MLC are the top out there for kits. Also bradleyfett is nice also you need a bit of love but ive seen great things done with this kit.

    Here's my advice
Spend the extra cash & get what you decide is the best armor.
If you don't, you'll end up buying what you should have bought in the first place.

    No "upgrading" later on
No trying to unload armor that isn't "good enough" later
    No regrets

Great advice! I thought I would keep it easy in the beginning and went with some sintra armor. Sintra is some great stuff, but I was kicking myself a couple months down the road. I can't stand the edging with the exposed PVC cell structure, and it is pointless to bondo or putty it. Follow your instincts and get a nice set. It is cheaper in the long run...believe me!

Also keep in mind what material you want your armor out of. Plastic or Fiberglass. Each has there own pros and cons.

BM makes some great stuff! In fact I have a Vest and RF on order with him. If you haven't check out his website it has all his peices and their pricing. Also you might want to check out this thread if its your first time build a Fett or any costume for that matter.

I say that FP is worth the wait. My new armour is FP, I wanted BM so badly for years, but when I got the cash, I couldn't say "no" to FP's new getup.

Yeah I've been drooling over BM armor... my wallet doesnt allow it right now (i can afford the armor but not the paintjob grrr). I haven't seen MLC armor tho... the only MLC armor I have seen is his Biker Scout armor (which is incredible). Anyone got a link to his armor? What is it made of?
