This website has pretty accurate belts for Boba Fett. Cheap too, but from what I've seen in other threads, they take dye very well and should do the job for your costume! Keep in mind that Brown is not available, but you will be looking to buy a white/natural girth belt anyway.

Didn't some peeps here have bad experiences with that website?

I seem to remember something about extraordinary long waits for shipment and poor customer service. Or was that someone else?

I think that was another site. I don't recognize this one. I have been known to be wrong on occasion.

I'm interested in purchasing a belt from this company. Does anyone know if strapping is included (where the buckles are) or do we have to modify/add strapping? Hope that makes sense!

Nope, you just add straps yourself.

I bought some belts through this company, no real complaints on the delivery time.

The only issue that I had was that the threads going up and down were not really mohair (different texture and look to them).

They didn't take the dye that great either...

I ended up removing mohair from a different belt and re-weaving it myself...

the dye isnt taking on these belts. i got one in the mail last week and sat it for dye.. after rinsing my belt is pink......

what color dye is needed for these and has anyone had any luck dying them?

on http://www.tk409.com/fett.html he mentions that you have to soak them in acetone first so they will take dye. Let us know how you make out, I need to get/make a girth belt yet too!

im gonna try industrial acetone... and i found another easy way to make a belt for 20 bucks.... go to a fabric stor and buy drapery twine.. right color right size right twist in it just add buckles. no dying needed. its like a buck a yard so 14 strands is 14 yards (if you wear a 36" or smaller)
cheap easy and weathers nicely
