My son's Boba Fett for DragonCon w/Jetpack

So my soon to be seven year old wants to enter the Star Wars Costume Contest at DragonCon this year. His favorite character from Star Wars is Boba Fett so he decided he wanted to do a Boba Fett Costume. Here is what I have made so far, what I need are suggestions on what needs to be improved or added. Thanks for any advice given

I made the jetpack from cardboard, ducktape, hot glue, and parts from his old inflatable jestpack that no longer worked.
