Sweet!
Spatula...? Man that worked well!![]()
i was at a wedding in proper highland garb, and when the cake cutting came around, no knife was to be found. i stepped up to the couple, pulled the sgian dubh from my sock, and the ceremony progressed.
why am i telling this story? because i got a vision of boba fett in the audience of a cooking show. they are making a cake, and have no spatula. boba fett walks up, hand them the spatula-tool, and walks away, never saying a word.
perhaps this will be less entertaining to me when i've gotten some sleep![]()
Crud...
I just found out I made the ESB anti-security blade.
Not the ROTJ one that I need![]()
The ROTJ has a Red stripe (no biggie) & a longer blade (biggie)
*thanx to lonepigeon for the ref pic*
Thats right, come to the ESB side.....We've got alot more leg room over here![]()
There's more than one version of this?!?!Originally Posted by slave1pilot

That part is in the pocket anyway, so who will ever know but you?
At any rate good job and very resourceful!

Those are looking very very good.![]()
at the risk of sounding cliche, I would know.Originally Posted by pennywise

besides, the longer spatula blade makes the tool stick out of the pocket more.
I'll have to install them & see how it looks.
I know, I know. I'm the same wayOriginally Posted by slave1pilot

Can it be modified to be the ROTJ one? Or is that impossible? If you have to start from scratch, I'll gladly buy that one from you,so you dont take a loss.
hey, if your gonna toss it, ill gladly take it...my jumpsuit pockets are pretty lonley![]()
WOW !!!![]()
Great job !! I knew spatula's were good for something !!![]()
slave1,
awesome job. just wondering where you got your paterson. I know places online that sell them, but i'm just wondering if you lucked out and found something local or got a deal on it somewhere. if you could PM that'd be cool.
again, nice work and glad to see the "scratch build" photos.

Yeah, I jsut recently got one for a pretty good dea, in fact i got it today off of ebay. What brand of spatula was that? And who has the dimensions of the security blade?
What type of x-acto knife did you use for the security blade? Did you do anything to them (cutting/drilling)?
Don't recall the Brand.Originally Posted by Caomhanach
I'm pretty sure they were the Harbor Freight kind in the plastic box.
I had to cut them to size & notched the little divots with the Dremel.
Thanks, I noticed the holes/notches and didn't think they were part of the knife (sounds stupid huh!) but wanted to make sure...
