The whole thing is made out of For Sale signs and PVC pipe. The round part of the thrusters are plastic Christmas ornaments. The nozzles are Renuzit air freshener caps! For the details inside the round part I layered the shapes I cut out from the WOF templates. I used Elmers craft spray to glue the layers in place. I then hit it up with some primer and used wood filler to smooth the angles. It took 3 tries to get it right. I had to keep looking at other guys thrusters like MOW to see how it translated into 3D. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of that build. I just did not have time because I’m trying to get all squared away for Halloween.

As for the endcaps on the thrusters I had to get creative since I was running out of time (and $!!) I was saving the little key fob LED flashlights that came with the kids Sketchers sneakers. The plastic ends were a decent shape. They are not accurate to the WOF templates but close enough in size and shape to work. I hit them up primer, silver paint and red for the inside.

I also ran out of time (and patience) to cut out the rectangular shape on the nozzles so I used black electrical tape cut to the approximate size, painted red, and weathered.

The four rectangular, recessed details on each thruster were cut out from the Christmas ornament (I traced a cutout from the WOF template with my Dremmel) and are y backed with a flexible layer of foam. It was the only material that was flexible enough to coat the back of the ornament. The foam is actually bright green but I painted it black. Thanks for looking!

P.S. I should point out that the beacon is not on yet. I almost forgot about it. I made the other part out of some metal odds/ ends. Anyone selling a resin beacon? ( just didn't have anything that could replicate that shape)
