Waiting on some epoxy to dry then a little sanding and silver on the left gaunt. Little bit of masking. Little bit of Rock Island Maroon. Little bit of Weathered black. Remove the masking and oh yeah baby!!!

If he is doing a run of 10 some peeps better jump on these!!!!

Levi,

Looking good man..Be sure and clean up the bottom edges before you go any further. Lay a flat large piece of med-grit sandpaper down on a smooth surface then run the gauntlets and other details across it..Works well. Keep them pictures coming :)

Well here they are! All I am missing is the small 4 darts on the right gaunt. They are on order and should be here by the weeks end or next week. I used a Radio Shack LED kit to make the arming light blink. $4.00 not bad. Ready to go out of the box.

Air brush colors used:

Rock Island Maroon
Weathered Black
Brunswick Green
Bright Silver

Started with a coat of silver. Then masking fluid the damage. Then RIM. Next Weathered Black. Then misted BG in the nooks and cranny's. Peel off masking. Touch up any silver. Coat of Dull Coat and that's it.

Let me know what you think. And these were my first so be gentle but honest.

ok gentle but honest (honest is easy, gentle? not so much)
Your scratches are not accurate.
the "switch" on the left gaunt needs to be black
The calc pad buttons need darker colors for the buttons

Minus that (I'm no ROTJ guru) I think they look sick! I like the deeper/darker red and the weathering. I've seen some guants look too bright red and I think that looks ******. One of the biggest reasons I'm more into the ESB Fett is that the ROTJ's back pack and gauntlets are a bitt too colorful for me.

Good work man!!!

I think they look great. I ordered this kit from Christian a couple days ago. Plan on getting some PM's from me with questions during my buildup....if thats ok with you.
GREAT JOB!!

Let me know! I went a little off from Christians tutorial. Kinda by the seat of my pants. They are solid though.
