My new ESB jumpsuit - teaser

Jango Fett Jr

Well-Known Hunter
Over the last week or so, I've been working on my new jumpsuit. Here it is so far!

I made it using two white Red Kap jumpsuits, using pieces of the second one to make the sleeves and pockets. It was modified it to fit me properly, and I added the ankle straps I so sorely needed. There is an elastic in the right sleeve with a key-ring on it so I can hook my hose on. Works beautifully.

You may not be able to tell in the photos (excuse the crappy camera) but it's dyed Rit Royal Blue and Pearl Grey, but it isn't quite coloured enough for my tastes. Oh well, try it again tomorrow! I'll take more photos since these didn't turn out.
Let me know what you think.

Who did your sewing? The pockets and seams look very nice. Looks like a wife/girlfriend/mother helped with the sewing...very cool! What was total cost if I may ask?

BTW...I must say, the shoes are what make it so special too. JK! Did anyone see that clonetrooper pic of the guy in front of the X-wing about 6 months ago? That guy spent a year making a one-off fiberglass clone suit that he could barely walk in, and then wore Reeboks...sweet!

I tried to post in here 3 times last night and then my post would vanish so here goes again!
I think it looks excellent JFJ!
You have been sewing your tail off and the fruit of your labors finally shows!
Damn fine job!

Those are some nice shoes! ;)

You did an awsome job sewing that all by yourself. Most impressive work on the detailing.

Sad thing is he has to sew for his girlfriend.

All the sewing was done by me. No need for any female assitance, real men know know to sew ;)
Total cost aside from dye, $24 total for two jumpsuits.

Can you go back to the store and buy me 2 sized 46! Are there more? WHITE? LMK.

I guess I am a girly-man that can't sew since all the bad-A's on this forum can sew!

I got them from a small second-hand store that sells used work clothes like jumpsuits, jackets, labcoats, etc.

AWSOME suit...and the price is phoenomenal....if I could sew I would have save about 20 times what you paid...aside from dye of course;)

Kudos

 Really nice for the price! Are you doing the ESB version or the ROTJ version? Looks like the ROTJ color so far...unless it's the camera or the flash....something....:facepalm

But so far...OUTSTANDING!!! Are those shoes "screen accurate"?
