not bad at all, in fact, it's pretty nice. the only thing i see is (and it may just be the picture), did you use silver or white on the the thrusters?

    Re: my jet pack

The thrusters were sprayed aluminium then rubbed down slightly to give a worn look then lightly sprayed with grey undercoat, once dried rubbed off the masking fluid and rubbed them down slightly again to blend a bit better. I couldn't get the same effect as some others i have seen but i did my best, i'm pretty chuffed with it. The weathering can be rubbed off and i was thinking about changing some of the chips and scratches as i think some don't look quite right, this was done with rattle cans too.
Any hints and tips to improve the look are most welcome.

Hey nice work on your jetpack. If you'd like to weather the jetpack a bit more , try using black and some light brown chalk pastels and apply it with a soft brush be brave with it and if you don't like the results you can remove it by rubbing it off or wiping it down and re-apply till you are satisfy. Don't forget to spray it with dull coat to seal it after you are done , it gives it a realistic battle worn look.

I dont know if you painted the helmet and armor so dont take this wrong but the colors on both are way off...and the back of the ESB helmets damage is all wrong....might want to consider painting it over with stormtrooperguys tuturial

well that's a little devestating to hear, i sprayed these up using the closet colours i could find. the lid is based on ROTJ ref pics i found again closest colours i could find, seeing as no one seems to say the exact colours used and there being a difference between US and UK colours i thought i did well.

    Re: my jet pack

Well your helmet has a kinda mixed up thing going on bud...the ears are Empire and the helmets ROTJ, could be the lighting, but at work the colors on the helmet look fine...at home they look BRIGHT, my home computers monitor is pretty close to what i see as true to life and my work is very dark in comparison. Hard to see things on it sometimes actually...but yeh the helmets damage is pretty off as theres a number of things I see that could be corrected...the ears are completely the wrong helmets ears and rangefinder doesnt have the viewfinder thing installed on it for ROTJ...checkout my pics on my ROTJ Fett mines pretty accurate
