Hello ALL!
Sorry for the lack of Updates and PM replies!
My wife and I just got back into town late lastnight and this is the first chance I've had to post.
We got a call on Monday that my wifes Grandfather had died and had to go to Texas for the Funeral and such.
We stayed a couple of extra days so she could spend sometime with her Dad whom she only see's once a year.
I apologize to those to whom I promised belts to this past week. Those belts are indeed done, boxed and ready to mail out.
I will be replying to the PM's as well as PMing everyone whose belt is ready and will give everyone their Delivery Com. #'s.

Work has been a bear lately with 2 people quiting and this is the start of the busy season in the Furniture industry so I've been working an average of12 hours a day and working weekends also. No making Excuses just letting you know.

It isn't totally done, but thought I'd get some feedback.
It's made of vinyl, pouches and belt, pouches are non-functional. Don't know what I'd put in them anyway. Have thigh pouches and side pouches for wallet and such.
Still need to weather and paint the top and bottom edge of belt to make it look like cut leather. This is my prototype
belt.

I've had SEVERAL members inquire about me making an Ammo Belt for them. Is there an Interest in this?
I can have them done BEFORE Halloween.
I can do ESB or ROTJ and the belt can be done either ESB, AOSW, or MOM style. I will need waist size and if you want snaps(nonfunctional), ESB will automaticaly come with 3.
They are ALL vinyl with white stitching and buttons can be included if you want them.
Price would be $60.00 plus shipping.
I know people are on Budgets(like myself) and want to help as much as possible.

Don't forget you don't want your real waist size, it is best measured with your armor and girth in place and where you would be wearing the belt to get the best fit and that will/could increase the size a few inchs.

I'm making these around 8 inches longer than your waist size to compensate for your Girth(belt, no jokes intended :p )
and Cod piece. They will also be adjustable so you can make them as Tight or loose as you need.
I prefer a little loose so I kind of sags

Well it doesn't really matter which version for me since its for a custom, but could you do it out of the white vinyl and paint it dark gray like a Jodo belt for the same price?

I guess if I had to choose, I would rather have brown vinyl on my belt (and not painted white vinyl), but I'm just concerned with the color of the belt and pouches being as close to the ROTJ color as possible. Thanks!

I'd be interested in seeing the white painted belt. But I'll probably still go with the plain brown belt.

I got my belt! ahhh man its soooo good! it really is a quality piece o' work! props to ya Robert for makin these, and at such an affordable price. they really have some authentic weight to them as well. what did you fill the pockets with? is that cork? or something? I was thinking of making accurate side pouches to go with my Belts. Of course, I believe the ESB pouches are the same color as the jumpsuit(someone correct me if I'm wrong) so you(team ESB) would have to send me their material.

I got the side pouchs on with some modifying and I glued the ammo pouchs into place so they wouldn't move all over.

Darthvader1... Thanks!! It'll look better once I get things tweeked in place, these are all just test fittings with the components on to see how the fit. I gotta couple more peices coming, boots and a new girht, then I'll tear it right down and tweek everything so it looks really good.

I'll start dirtying the belt in the next couple days, it has to get dirty. Maybe I'll drive over it with my truck a couple times. :p

Yeah, I figured I'd leave the pouches adjustable. That way you can get the placement on the belt just right.
I plan on Glueing mine on my personal one when I do mine.

I admit I was a little nervous when I shipped the first ones out. I hoped everyone would like them.
I want to offer everyone the best product I can at the best price I can.
As for the weathering, I plan on using Acrylic paint to weather mine. I'm not sure how well sanding vinyl works because it isn't leather. It's pretty much the same color all the way through.
But, I wouldn't recommend running over it with your truck LOL

I have to admit, that even though I haven't got your belt yet, but based on two choices I had before: one of them already taken out for an actual auction that took place not so long ago (real leather and actual working pouches), compared to your belt...but yours is WAAAAAY superior quality and accuracy (even though the pouches are non-working) compared with the ones I've seen so far(and planned to buy so far...paying TOP dollars for them.

Good to go, and I can't wait to have a surprise in my mail soon.

Well, the list was updated on the 15th (I think). One of the reasons I think that he haven't answered you guys is that he's having some family emergency going on (death in the family) and he's dealing with it now.

Let me first off apologize for the lack of communication!
It has been a pretty rough month and a half!
I've been Swamped at work, being short people.
My cousin Dies in October, My wifes Grandfather Died last week and today I had to have My 11 year old Rottweiler put to sleep.
What a wonderful start to the Holiday season!!!!!!!!!!
All I'm asking is for everyone to PLEASE be patient. I am Getting these done and out as fast as I can.
I in No Way intend on ripping anyone off.
I get to work at 6:30 in the Morning and get off anywhere from 5:00 to 10:30. We Just finished Inventory and now we have to do individual Cycle count were there are discrepencys. I'm not making Excuses, just informing everyone as to why there has been a lack on my part.
My wife takes care of the shipping since she can make it to the post office while they are still open.
I will make her remember to bring the tracking #'s home from work tomorrow and PM everyone showing shipped that hasen't received it.
You guys have All been Great so far and I apoplogize for letting my communication slip.
It is 10:51pm now and I'm headed upstairs to put in a couple of hours on the remaining belts.

I got my belt today, and WOW!! It is absolutely amazing, and HEAVY! I was concerned that, from the pics, it looked like it was a lighter brown than what I needed; but now that it's here and in my hands, I can say that the color is spot-on!

I plan on misting a little bit of grey and black over the belt, and then using toothpicks to apply the little flecks of white, and all the other little scratches. Usually, I just dip the toothpick about a quarter of an inch into the paint (will probably use vinyl paint for this bad boy), wipe a little excess off, and then drag lightly where I want scrapes and spots of weathering. It usually looks pretty nice when I'm finished. I'll try to post pics when I get it finished, but I don't know when I'll have time to get on it.

I used 60 grit sand paper and sanded the pouch's down being careful not to hit the stitch's and followed with 150 grit sand paper doing the same.

I then dry brushed a couple different shades of brown on it then misted it lightly with some black and I did a little bit of white here and there and that was it.
It came out looking pretty good.

Another tip for the white little scratches...instead of using the normal white paint, find some "TAN" or "FLESH" (the best)colored paint, which I use the Testor's version for the weatheing a little bit, including the must-do black misting, grey and brown.
