Sep 21, 2009, 10:31 AM - My First Fett
Hey Fellow Fetters! I wanted to get a little opinion on how I'm doing. This is my first attempt at creating a full Fett for my basement. This version is simply for my all out Halloween party, so keep in mind I am cutting a couple of corners for the sake of time. I am planning on spending some real time and money on the next version that will grace my basement. So I am hoping to learn a thing or two during this rough draft. This is a whole new word to me, and I have already told the wife, "Get ready baby, I am now a Fett-a-holic" (I see it as a true test of my marriage) Anyway, any feedback about what I am doing right, tips, or what I am doing wrong would be great. Thanks guys!

Here are a couple of shots of my Gauntlets in production. My father has been slaving on this for me over the last week. I passed this portion of the project onto him, he loves to work on this kind of stuff, and he has a great attention to detail. At any rate, just wanted your opinions. Thanks!

Oct 10, 2009, 11:55 PM - Helmet Update
WARNING! WARNING! ILLEGITIMATE BUCKET! Okay, I know, but as I said before, I am under time constraints and I have to cut a few corners. So I had a Jango Fett helmet that I bought a while back and decided I would convert it for Halloween. Trust me, I will be making a true Boba Bucket to replace this one with, but it will work this year.
The armor needs some work, (its misssing the yellow) and you will probably notice that I made a total rookie mistake on the abdomen plate, the three small holes on the bottom left are actually on the top right. (Don't ask, I have no idea what happened.)
As always your advice, suggestions, and overall feedback is welcome. Thanks to all.

Ok all, here are the most current updates in my weekend progress. The jet pack has a few missing items that I am hoping to get taken care of today, the gauntlets have their first painted steps, and my ROTJ blaster has a start. For a budget Boba, its coming together.

Nov 2, 2009, 6:10 PM - Halloween Completion
Well kids, I have finished, at least for Halloween. I plan and fixing several items before putting the unit on display. You will notice obviously that I am a rather large Fett, most likely a "Post Sarlacc" version. My wife says that "I am an out of work bounty hunter that went on a beer binge, and now am getting back in the game." She really does love me. Anyway, I will post my display unit once i have it completed!
