My ROTJ Painting Progress (Scratchmade)

ALL UPDATES ARE IN MY LAST POSTS!!!

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Just started my own ESB Fett today. Im gonna try out trash can armor, and if I dont like it then there is our friend BM that I can get armor from.

So far I am satisfied.

The shoulder armor was painted for fun, just to see what it would look like

More progress. Painting!

Dent Details. For those who want to know how I made the dent, I just heated up the plastic until it is about to sag, and pressed it back, some parts of the plastic around the dent melted, but with a bit of sanding you can get it looking good again.

Painted Chest Pieces. They are not done yet, as more weathering needs to be applied but they are very close.

One problem I see with this is that the dents on the left chest armor are not that accurate. The bottom dent should be smaller, but I already painted it so I might not even fill it and "Re-Dent" it. We'll see.

Final Update for today.

The armor is almost done, with the exception of the Collar, Back, and shoulder armor.

The belly was just finished up and has been weathered.

I decided to re-do the paint job on this. I didnt have correct colors at the time and was messing around with different colors, darkening methods, etc. But hopefully some time this week Ill get around to painting these pieces.

My first craptastic painjob, has turned into what I think a 90 percent accurate set of armor, in terms of damage placement, and scratch sizes. This will be redone again for a third time to see if I can get the proper colors.

The yellow is too bright, the green is too off, and the weathering, is alright, but not that great. I would say this is better than my attempt before. This was all done topically, and I am absolutely satisfied with the way it turned out, since, I am not too good at topical paintjobs.

I used hunter green by rustoleum, misted with a generic olive drab colored flat spray paint. I accidentally got that instead of Hunt Club green. I was following 7602s rattlecan thread and forgot which one it was exactly.
