My ESB Boba build

BFett1308

New Hunter
I ordered a complete ESB Boba Fett from Bobamaker in August 2013 and received the costume this week. These pictures are from the first time putting on the full costume. I know I need to make some tweaks to make it better. I am looking for whatever feedback you can give me. Thanks!!!

Hey man! That's quite the wait :)

A few things that caught my eye:

1) I can't tell for sure, but is the flightsuit two pieces? It looks like it from the back. Try to pull the cod piece and belts up to hide the separation.

2) It's weird...I feel like you need to bring your jetpack down from looking at your back (too much vest showing) but then I look at you from the side and it looks alright...

3) I would try to fade the flightsuit. It's very vibrant.

4) Various weathering on the gloves and ammo belt

Aside from that, it fits you well!

It was a long wait but worth it. The flightsuit is one piece and I will try moving up the cod piece and belts to hide the separation. I was going adjust the jetpack since it felt a little too high. Thanks for the feedback!!!:)

As DP stated, flight suit looks very brite. Not the wrong color, just too new looking. The chest armor seems to be a tad low, but may just be me. And as DP stated just some general weathering on the gloves and flight suit would do wonders for it. Nice looking costume btw.

I will try to fade the flightsuit. The gloves have some weathering but I try make it more pronounced. The flightsuit is weathered too but since it too bright, the weathering doesn't show up as much. Is there too much space between the collar armor and chest armor? Thanks for the feedback!!!:D

Looks like around an inch too much space between the collar and chest armor. Definitely get more opinions on this before you go moving it around though....

My jetpack was pulling the collar armor back some. Once I adjust my JETPACK, it might close the gap some. Thanks again for the suggestions!!!

I have been working on fading my flight suit since it was too bright. Does the flight suit need to be faded more? Starting to practice weathering.

I had my vest altered since it was too LNG and loose. I am not sure if it is 501st quality now since it has a seam around the bottom. Also had my straps put on my jet pack harness. I am have trouble with my back & collar armor choking me some and the gap between the collar & chest armor is still too much. I think I might need to get bigger armor since I am a little over 6'2". I currently have Bobamaker Version 3 armor and probably need to get RKD V2.1 armor. Also my girth belt is too big, not enough of a gap in the back. Did some weathering on the flightsuit.

Nice work. I'm a big fan of using magnets to attach armour. I also use two powerful magnets glued on the bottom of the front of my collar armour and place two magnets under my flak vest to keep it in place and keep it from pulling back. It works very well and I don't have any choking issues.
