My 1/1 ESB Boba Fett Build

Just like many of you guys, one my greatest dreams is to have a 1/1 Fett standing in my home as well as doubling as a fun 501st/event costume to parade around. Though I've painted and built items before, the Fett stuff has always been very daunting so I found someone within price and quality to go with. Got a hold of member sleepalot and commissioned him for the build and paintjob. Got my Fett armor in this past weekend. It looks freaking fantastic. He even weathered the flak vest for me. Sadly, after some working out and exercising, my chest is far too big for the original flak vest I bought so mounting the armor on me doesn't look too great. That and I didn't have enough magnets to mount the armor completely secure, just a quick mock up. Very happy with the end result and Sleepalot was very helpful in continually keeping me updated. I've always focused on simpler paint jobs/builds, never anything so heavily weathered. I LOVE the layered look. Thanks alot Mike! Might want to take a look at how the shoulders are on the vest, and the seams on the shoulders....The seams look to far away from the collar and the shoulder bells seem to be sitting funny

Thanks, just a quick mock up for shots, actually need a new vest, I can't even get close to closing it up on me anymore. I love the magnet set up though, allows me to modify it to any position I like.

If anyone is interested as well, I can provide a price breakdown, been keeping tabs on my budget for this guy for the past 3 years (slowly acquiring parts) and so far I'm in about $1300, in or around that total.

Just started my build this month. Helmet is being shipped this week. Do you have your armor shipped to him to paint when you buy it or ship yourself? Also where did you get that mannequin lol I want something similar

I think most of us would also be interested in a 'waited this long for gear' breakdown as well. sets another very important aspect for Fett builders.
