Most asked question EVER!

Robert A Fett

New Hunter
I have read all of the stickies and I have been costuming now for about 3 years. I feel I am ready to step it up a notch and go Boba. I'm prepared for the cost, effort, and the like. The one question is: Armor. Who do I go with. I have a couple dealers that I am looking at buying from and just wanted some feedback from those more in the know than myself. I also know that open discussion of such things are forbidden so a simple PM would be appreciated. If not, again, no big problem. I just wanted to know some background on the companies I have already found as well as maybe be exposed to some others that I have yet to know of. Thanks and I hope this doesn't immediately land me in that, "Darn newbie with their silly questions" no-mans-land.

P.S.-An ESB Fett is what I'm going for, if it makes any difference!

I used the search feature as suggested. Seems as if people are split 50/50 on the vendor I was looking to go with. Back to square one!:) Any one wanna tell me about some others?? Until then, I'll keep searching. Thanks!

Or a set of FP armor version 1 or 2 if you can find it. Bobamaker is made to order, FP isn't doing armor right now to focus on other projects I believe.

Lady Sewforus for all your soft part needs, especially the flightsuit :D they are beautiful and soo awesome :D

Id agree with Bobamaker for all your armour needs, especially the Deluxe Helmet Kit :D.

And stay away from ebay....... :p

Okay, Boba maker, Wickedbeard, and FP. Are these the names of people or companies? How do I get in touch with them? Do they have a price list? Do they make the whole armor set or will I have to piece it out through multiple vendors? Just curious. I have some money right now and it's burning a hole in my pocket. Just needed some direction on a vendor. Thanks!

Pennywise, how do I contact any one of those three vendors?

So, stay away from companies like GA or RA? I was looking at going with one of those guys, but the more I shop around here, I don't know. Sounds like I'd do better to step up and pay a bit more cash for a more quality product. Buy right, cry but once.

Ok, this is what I am trying to go for for my setup in the end... will cost a fair penny but this is my opinion for a top of the line list... Here goes... Btw the names I give for the parts here are members on this forum, so If you need reference to them, use the search function for more about them...

Deluxe (fully inclusive of all parts) Helmet Kit - Bobamaker
Body Armour (Collar, Backplate, Shoulder Bells, Chest Plates, Centre Diamond, Ab Plate, Cod Piece, Butt Plate, Knee Guards) - Bobamaker
Soft Parts (Flightsuit, Flak Vest, Neckseal, Ammo Pouches, Boot Spats) - Lady Sewforus
Gauntlets - Ruffkintoy, or Bobamaker when he gets his ready for sale
Jet Pack - Bobamaker
Gloves and Girth - I went to my local horseriding shop and got the girth, and some sweet goatskin gloves very close to the Gloves I need.
Boots - CABoots, although they are rare, watch the cargo hold
Electronics - http://www.hyperdynelabs.com/products_elec.php (under bounty hunter)

Other stuff is here and there... Just search for it and you will find it.. be specific in your searches though, and you should come up with some good stuff..

Oh and a side not, dont expet to have it all done withing weeks, a Boba Fett costume will consume a whole load of time... but it is thoroughly worth it in the end :D

I know about the time consumption, I was more concerned with having to order from 20 different vendor in order to complete the armor. That's all. Any body have any pics of Bradleyfetts armor. All his links to his pics no longer work. Thanks!

wth? no mention of MOW? even without ever seeing one in person, he jet packs RAWK! and gauntlets too.
