ESB EE-3 arrived today from Molon Labe Studios.

Very light weight than expected. Can't wait to troop with it.

Do you have a shot from the front? I bought just the barrel off him and it was oval shaped, not round..

The barrel end of the flare gun should not be oval shaped but perfectly round.

Its round. You're talking about the silver flash tube right? Ill post pics from front when I get home.

Nice looking piece. Scope looks to be set just a little too high.

ROTJ or ESB, the barrel of the Webley should not be ovular. like intwenothor said, it should be perfectly round.

Here they are anyway, if this is what you were wondering about.
    I didn't know about the oval/circular thing.

Ah, it didn't really read that way. Surely sending it back and asking for another or your money back is the way forward. Can anyone confirm that the main frame is actually the frame from the no 3 mk 1 and not the no 1 mk 1? The serial number on the bottom of this ee3 is the same as the one on the no 3 kit he offers. In reality it makes little difference as the component is the same on the first three flare guns and the mk 6 revolver...

Edit: Didn't mean to de-rail your thread, your kit/build looks great

Naw man, it's good. I'm in love with this rifle, you have a right to say what you wish.

This is my progress on my build so far, took these last night for my progress album.

I can confirm it. It's from my No.3 Mk.1. In my search to acquire a No.1 Mk.1 I came up empty... for months. Always looking for one though if someone has one floating around

So that's why no webley marking. What can you tell us about this Harrington; I'd seen pictures before but thought it was some kind of post war bodge job of old parts in a one off rather than a widespread operational piece.

There are markings, but not all of the same markings. From what I can tell, the webleys have a crown stamp with an "arrow", where as the Harrington's just have the arrow and some similar but different markings in relatively the same place. I'll try to snap a few pics later today. As far as the history of the Harringtons, I've read that after the war Webley sold/ licensed molds were to H&R. H&R then produced tear gas guns for Australian & American police forces. I'll brush up on the facts, and we may need to move the post to the misc Webley info thread.
