maybe a good boba boot.

Well, the title says Boba boot. :)
I've been looking at a lot of shoes recently and I saw one pair of hush puppies (beleive it or not) that could possibly be used as a base boot. I'll try to find a pic if I can.

More info please. I'm looking for a base boot for Luke's ANH Tatooine boots. Need the flat sole especially.

Do you mean 'puttees'? Like the leg wrappings that were worn by British soldiers in WWI?

Or are 'Puttys' a type of boot?

I already have tan colored suede material I'm going to use for Luke's leg wraps. And I plan on covering a pair of boots with this same fabric cut to the correct pattern.

Thanks for those boots links. But the soles are way wrong. They should be flat kinda like Boba Fett's but beige or brown. The nearest I found to these soles was on a pair of house slippers  The color of the boots isn't important either, since I'll be covering them in tan suede.

...and we'd better shut up about Luke's boots before the mods remind me its not Boba Fett related

Kurty - have you searched for "puttys" on the internet before? Just a thought...

Man, those are exactly the same Stormtrooper boot pattern, just made of a different material, and in the same family as the original Fett boot. My 2 cents.
