Hi
I could not fine a thread on this so if I duplicated one sorry.
I am trying to find out what material either the original film flak vest was made from, or what the standard material everyone else uses.
it looks to me as though it is some kind of grey pvc fabric but iI am not sure.

What it looks like in the MOM pics is a cotton Chintz. Alot of folks here are using is Tackletwill, which is a twill weave fabric, while the screen-used is a standard weave.
Does anyone have a line on where to get any screen accurate material? I would love to eventually get a vest made from it.
