Cost is $350.00 for US kits. International kits are $375.00

maybe I'll pass on making my own.. 350 is a reasonable price.

Here's an update:

The molds for the new lanyard will be completed in 2 days. This means purchased kits will begin being mailed out at the end of the week (September 8th). Thank you for your patience guys.

Hey Chris, I know I asked this before but how long will you be offering these for? Need to sell a few things to pick this baby up.

Lanyard mold is completed. I'll be finishing up purchased orders over the next few days. I may be offering the lanyard as a single prop. I know there were many of you interested in the lanyard alone so keep posted.

Several JP kits along with the new lanyards were mailed out this Monday morning (Sept 10th).

I should have the rest of the kits mailed through out the week.

I would be interested in this, however funding at present time is rather stretched... how long will these be going for, and what lanyard would you reccommend for a 5'6"ish stocky guy? Assuming that you are the person doing the shorter one as well...

super job once again. totally down for one (ESB). just not right now :-( put me on a list to contact bfore you stop doing these and i'll for sure get one.

do you sell all your stuff as a kit or is it possible to get all this fully built and painted ? I'm new on the DEN and have to look what parts for my Boba are interessting for me so i just wanna check this out. Sadly i dont have the skills to built or paint stuff myself.

Seeker, That's an old Jedi rocket pack I painted several years ago.

I've decided to go with (Rocket Pack) instead of the traditional (Jet Pack)..After all it is a rocket propelled system....Right!?

I've never owned or worked on a jet pack kit, so I'm just curious as to the thruster attachment method you described.
Is there an advantage to doing the "bent" system you showed over just a straight piece of PVC? Are there issues with fitting a single straight piece inside the body of the pack?

That's it exactly..The shape of the fuselage prevents a straight pipe connection.

Got my pack today! This is one SAAAWEEEEEEET Rocket Pack!!! The Pics do not do it justice. Plus it is ultra light weight. When I have the funds I may have to get another one! Thanks for making such a great pack Christian!

The lines are nice and clean and it should not take much work at all to get it ready for painting.

it doesn't come with harness attachments and it requires a bit of sanding and filling before painting.

I'll hopefully be placing an order when I know how my finances are running after Christmas. Just can't decide between the Arena or t'other...

I have as of today now seen one of these packs in person. It is really a well made jet pack with crisp detail and a very nice overall shape. The size should look good on many different sized people. Nice work MOW.

If it allows you to fly, it's a jet pack.

If it does both, it's either a rocket-jet pack or a jet-jet pack.

Actually, it has more to do with the type of propulsion.

everybodys saying such great things, makes me even more excited to get mine, some great paint jobs as well, mine will be esb version but I'm happy.

Correct. A jet pack would have intakes for airflow to enter for the engine to function properly. A Rocketpack has an internally stored propellant that doesn't require airflow to operate. So TECHNICALLY, Boba has a jet pack.

Got one of these a couple of months ago myself.

Go ahead and get the PVC now cause thats the one thing that doesn't come with it. The JP is so beautiful you will want to jump right on working on it when it comes in.

Same here somewhat, not worried but just looking for an accurate update since I have a troop in 3 weeks I was planning to use this in. It will be a month next Tuesday since I ordered though. Chrisitan did tell me 10 days ago that he was pretty sick around x-mas which put a damper on his making of these. Mine was expected to ship last week when I had that last communications with him.

I've never dealt with MoW but at least (compared to MANY threads recently) he has communicated and recently myself have learnt that good things come to those who wait...
