    Hey Guys,

Many of you showed interest in the ESB rifle greeblies that were used for the JB Project. In the final weeks of the project I was fortunate enough to be given a black-n-white reference photo from the SW archives never before seen in public circulation. The gentleman who provided this photo was very intricately involved in the JB Project as a whole. These are as close a representation to the actual movie prop versions from that photo.

Although I can't share the reference photo I was allowed to offer my representation in prop form to the TDH.

I'm now offering these 6-piece greeblie sets for $25.00 which includes US shipping.

Feel free to pm me for further details or send payment for immediate shipping.

    Paypal address: ManofWarStudios@verizon.net

    Best,
    Christian

paypal sent. So does the top parts show how they actually go on?

maybe the person that allow you to make em, would allow you to show a crop part of just the greeblies.

    Seeker,

The archive photo is pretty grainy..Don't know if other photos exist for an even closer look? Couldn't tell you one way or the other how the movie version was attached..There's no noticeable recessed screws or such that I could pick out in the photo. A good epoxy sounds good to me.

Thanks for the purchases guys..sorry it took so long in getting them available.

    Best,
    Christian

no offense, but not having seen the picture you worked off, i found info and a picture of the side greeblies at partsofsw.com. apparently an old am connector was used. and when i compare the picture of the actual connector to your greeblies i do notice some differences.

can you shed some light on this?

    V,

Good call...Yes, your right. I should have specified that. I was referring to the center detail. The side details were a complete sculpt on my part. I had no time to locate those plugs in the final moments leading up to the JB project unveiling. Do you have a supplier I can contact on those babies ?

I was just gonna say, considering they're "sculpted" peices...I'd say they're really really close...

no supplier yet. i only read about this piece about 2 weeks ago. it was listed under the han solo hoth scanner at that site and it was mentioned that Bobas ESB blaster uses the same "split-plugs" as they called them. I then began searching the net and all kind of electronic stores and only came up with a new design which would not match those used. i think there was also an earlier thread at tdh.com were one member said he found a bunch in italy. partsofsw.com says that those were used in the 70's/80's. i spoke to a electronic expert and he said those were indeed used for antennas, a very old way to connect them to a receiver.
it's basically a folded open connector.
