Thanks for the kind words mate, I really hope I can make some progress soon. It's been sitting around for a while!

One thing I did notice though, I was looking at BM's pack on his site and noticed that the central column on his JP is the same width as the housing for the rocket. On yours it does look as if the central column is not as wide as the housing.

Perhaps you could add some filler to make these match up?

I tried to achieve a similar look to the JP shown here (i think it is a JP owned by Delta75). Not sure of the make though. Hope you don't mind me using one of your pics Delta75.

If you look at the bottom of my central column it is in fact nearly the same diameter as the rocket housing. Well spotted though mate

What size tubing did you end up using?

Actually that is incorrect. The top of the column (above the keys) should be narrower than the bottom. It should be the same width through the middle portion, but the overall diameter of the top portion should be less than that at the very bottom of the jet pack. They should not be the same width as yours (and MLC) is.

Another well spotted If fact through my own incompetence The rocket housing on mine is actually slightly smaller than the main column. So by getting it wrong i seem to have gotten it right (well almost, its near enough for me). Thanks for all the comments though guys, hopefully with your help i can make this thing look really good.

For the rocket housing i used 100mm dia tubing (the main column isn't in fact tubing, but a piece of curled over plastic sheeting). For the fuel cells i used 68mm dia tubing (thanks Dan).

Oh and thanks Alan for the templates.

I just supplied the tools, you did the hard part. An EXCELLENT job at that!

Did you get the info on the missing coverplate? If not let me know and I'll e-mail you a pattern. I must have miss that part the first time around.

If you have the Cad files for that plate it would be greatly appreciated. I have just cut out some rough ones about 30 minutes ago, and plan to put them on tonight. It woul dbe nice to have the correct size though.

Once again though buddy, thanks for your templates. All i did was 'bolt' everything together, i my opinion you did the hard work
