A Long, Long ESB Build

After finishing my TK and my wife's TI (which I'll be conveniently borrowing from time to time) I've finally decided to start with my Fett ESB build. It's a personal dream to build one as he's one of the characters I had my mind on from the very beginning. But after looking at the total cost (parts + painting), I've come to realize that it's going to be a long process credits-wise.

Here's the part list I've gathered so far:

  • Boba Fett Helmet - looking at ASOK, painting by DVH (thanks Lou)
  • Chest + Shoulder Armor
  • Knee Armor
  • Back + Collar Armor
  • Cod + Butt Armor
  • Gauntlets
  • Jetpack
  • Jetpack Harness
  • Flightsuit
  • Toe Spikes
  • Flak Jacket + Neckseal
  • Gloves
  • Shin Tools
  • Boots
  • Blaster
  • Balaclava
  • Ammo Belt
  • Girth Belt
  • Braids
  • Cape

Welcome!

It can be a long haul. That's not a bad list overall, but depending on the route you go there will be a lot of hidden things that pop up on that list. The gauntlets, for example, have lots of switches and other greeblies on them. If you buy a complete gauntlet kit you shouldn't have to really add much. If you buy just the shells you'll need to come up with all of the bits. Another hidden part will be the studs for the collar armor and kidney/cod armor. There are tons of these little things on a good Boba. The complete list is pretty impressive. It is totally fun though, so enjoy!

I was looking at the BM gauntlet kit. The metal greeblies are nice and all but I feel I need to keep the cost down and probably just upgrade later on. I have not accounted for the studs you mentioned so thanks for the reminder :D
