Hey all,
We have been doing our flightsuits an order at a time for a while but we thought that we would do a run and see how it goes. Halloween is over so the pressure from our friends and family is off so now is a good time :D. These are the Boba flightsuit in a light blue/grey color. The fabric and the pockets are all ready to go so turn around should be 4-6 weeks baring any major catastrophy. The price is $175 + $15 shipping US. If you are outside the US PM me and I'll figure out shipping. I have fabric and pockets ready for five suits so thats what we are starting with. We have a fab tutorial on how to get your correct measurements on Ladysewforus.com.

Thanks Everyone, Carole has been making the majority of the flightsuits for quite a long time now. She is just now deciding to break out of hiding.

I am very glad she is now here with me!! My partner in crime!

You should see what she can do. I need to get some more of here pics up on the website, she made the most awesome flapper dress for her daughter for Halloween, without a pattern.

Yes, I think she is great :) can you tell?

Quick question. I currently have one of skygunbro's excellent flightsuits. Unfortunately for me I recently took some damage to it around the shin tool pockets which resulted in a complete rip around the leg. What is the thickness of the material you use like? Is it stronger/more durable than the seemingly lightweight sgb suit?

I have not personally seen a sgb suit, so I can't really compare, but our fabric is 100% cotton twill and it's pretty thick stuff. I would say its about the thickness of Dickies, if that helps. And our suits come with the double zipper, not sure if anyone elses do.

I have a sgb and LSFU flightsuits are alot thicker.

Carole, this is Daniel, Daniel meet Carole :D

I am sure you two will eventually meet.

Carole, Daniel is local and Mark and him have become fast friends. ;)

And just to make it clear, no one is lessening the greatness of the SGB suits, he was the gold standard for suits, as long as he was sewing them. Many ppl were not happy about that retirement!

Kudos to you Jason!! :cheers

A buddy of mine has a SGB suit which is nice, and I have the LSFU suit. Mine is made of thicker material. This is nice and will hold up longer, but it is hotter when I wear it.

Mod's can you please move this thread to the Cargo Hold?

Carole did not realize that this was in the wrong place.

She put it in the correct place.

Runs and Interest Threads
If you plan to produce a limited run of an item and also plan to post an interest thread and/or sign-up list, do not post them in The Cargo Hold. Instead, post the interest thread/sign up list thread in the forum that is most closely related to the item that is for sale (example: post your interest thread for a run of rocket pack thrusters in the Rocket Pack forum). The Cargo Hold is intended for items that are available for immediate sale or trade, not future projects in which the item has yet to be created or completed.

Phew. Thanks. I don't have access to the cargo hold.
