    Kim's Belts...

Here is my ammo belt build as of right now...

This belt has been very time consuming and difficult at times...

I wanted the pouches to be usable - which presented and interesting problem for me...

The belt still is not complete and I have been working on it for about 2 months now... I am very close though. I need to add the stitching to the flaps and then attach them to the pouches and I am done.

    Here is the build:

I am lining each pouch with a very stiff black felt which is keeping each pouch nice and straight...

Awesome looking vinyl. Where'd you get it?

Funny. I'm using the same contact cemet on my belt.

I bought about 2 yards of the Vinyl at a fabric store not to far from my work... they had every color imaginable of the stuff!

and I love that contact cement! Works great!
That and JB Weld will hold my costume together!

    OHG !!! Those packs a great !!

I am still far from completion on my suit, but I already consider upgrading my ammo pouches to be useable too.

Working for quite a while this weekend and I finished my jumpsuit, all of the pouches, the spats and my vest...

I had some professional help here from my Aunt who happens to be an incredible seamstress!

Ignore the color differences you see in the jumpsuit, all will be dyed to match.

I kinda like that 2-tone flightsuit.
Not for Boba, but maybe for a custom Mando or something.

Ok, here are some more updated pictures (from last night) of where I am with my ammo belt...

I have all of the pouches completed except for the velcro on each to flap to keep them closed... I should have them 100% done by this weekend and then I can get some shots of the pouches on the actual belt - hopefully on the actual me!

1.) I am going to fill the pouches with small jolly ranchers and give them to people as I walk around!
and 2.) - I think the sharks should have eaten him anyway! :p

Now there's an idea. That's cool. Have little candies in there so when you see someone you can give them one! I like that idea a lot! You will be a very popular bounty hunter.

I can see it now at a Con, "Hey.. that Boba has candy!!!"

Correct me if I am wrong SarlaccBits, but that's one from "Hot Topic" correct?

They had a lot of SW shirts over the summer and fall last year. The cool thing about that shirt, is the Bantha Skull emblem is actually embroidered on to the shirt! It's not a decal or silk screen. I have the same thing as well and I love it!

Oh S Bits, now you're going ROTJ? I fell a little betrayed, but you're still a Boba Fett (and a cool Anakin). If you're going that direction, remember the gauntlets, spats, and other details will be different. The belt looks great. I got that t-shirt at Hot Topic too, the shirt was the only thing that got me in there.

First off, your ammo belt is really coming along. Well done

secondly, its really weird how we change between ESB, SE & ROTJ , i was originally going to do SE 'cause i liked the ROTJ flamer but with all the research i have done on Fett I have slowly been turned the ESB flamer. So its ESB all the way now. Lets have a sweep stake on how long it will be till i change my mind again
