Yeah, the JW boots were definately the best boots I've ever seen produced. I'm still using mine, although they are getting worn out from 5 years worth of trooping!!! LOL

    Re: JW boot run?

Ok, that should be enough but I'm going to give it a few more days to see if anyone else wants in. He cuts price breaks per pair the more pairs that are ordered.

For those of you who put "interested pending price", I didn't include you on the interest list as of yet. Not trying to be rude, but through experience, most people who put that usually don't commit. I'm not saying you won't or will, just in my experience, that's the way it goes.

To answer a few of the questions I've received (and yes, I've already had people write and ask me how much the boots would cost ):

Yes, I will ship overseas. No, I don't know how much it would cost.
Yes, it will be money up front. However, for those who don't know me or were burned by reinone on the Jango project... I was ripped off by my business partner in the first run. I drove from Texas out to Arizona and paid about $1200 out of my own pocket to set things straight and ensure everyone got their boots. So, hopefully that will set your mind at ease.

If you post the price, and I am commited to it, do I get bumped to second since I posted second?

PS I live in AZ, could I pick um up direct from him.

Good question. This is an interest thread, that's all. There is no first, second or third. IF this happens, order of precedence will be set by size and when payment is received. For example, let's say there are 4 people who order and pay for size 9, the first person who pays for the size 9 gets the first pair of size 9s I get. Make sense?

Sorry, but no. All the boots are bulk shipped to me and then out to you.

I've spoken with the boot guy and he thinks he still has the molds/bucks/lasts for the boots as well as the patterns, but he has to look. Even though it has been several years since the last run, he remembered every aspect of the boots.

    Re: JW boot run?

Well, that's 31 people, not including the "pending price"-ers. There will probably be people who chime in once the word comes down who didn't want to say one way or the other. My final estimate would be 35-ish for the run. I think there is enough interest to see about getting this ball 'a rollin'.

I'll give it till Friday evening for the interest list to see if anyone else chimes in and to give my guy time to look around for the lasts and patterns.

I don't have a timeline on how long this will take to get started nor finished. The last 2 runs took several months.

Also, to put the sizes in perspective, I wear a 9.5 and I got a pair of 9s. The 10s were just a tad too big.

Once I get further information, I'll post it.

If the price is $150 or less then I'm probably in.
