JW boot run: PRICE UPDATE 9 SEPT

Hey Wes. Quick question: Will the new run of boots, (if it happens,) be identicle to your originals...or can slight changes be made???? Don't get me wrong...I've always felt, and still feel, that the original JW boots are the absolute best out there!!!!!! However, I did also always feel that they could be improved ever so slightly. I dunno if anyone will agree with me or not here, but I always felt, that the toe area should be a bit wider, and I felt they should be a bit taller, ie go higher on the ankle. Again...just my thoughts, and changes or not, I'm still gonna get a pair. Just thought I'd throw that out in case there was a possiblity of tweaking them a bit. Again...huge thanx for looking into even gettin these going again!!!!!!!!!!

Somehow I missed this thread, too. I would love a pair of your boots, Wes. Or maybe two, depending on one of the people I'm doing a costume for. But I know I wouldn't be able to actually pay for them until later this summer. So I'm not a "pending price" one. I know for a fact I want, but also know for a fact it would have to be later. What's your advice there?

JK: Sorry bro. All the patterns and everything are already made. Can't change anything now.

Peregrinus: I'd say just wait to see how it pans out. I still have to get things set up with the boot guy, put out prices and wait on everyone to pay. It could stretch out a bit.

Still waiting on a call back from the boot guy.

List updated.

Ok, gang, I've been trying to get in contact with him. He *should* be calling me back tomorrow.
I've also been trying to find pics of my first run boots, but I'm coming up empty. If anyone has any, please pass them along so I can send them to the boot guy.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll have a ballpark figure on the boots.

Ok guys,

I understand and appreciate the enthusiasm you all have for this project. As a matter of fact, I share it, or I wouldn't be doing this. However, after the 100th person writes me, asking questions that are CLEARLY stated in the first post, it wears on my nerves. So, to reiterate.....

Here's the fine print:
1. There has to be substantial interest for me to do this since my boot guy is in Arizona and I am not. - WE GOT THIS

2. I do not know what the price would be.

3. There is no guarantee the boot guy still even has the mold/bucks for the boots. I haven't talked to him. At worst, I would have to send him a pair from my old run.

4. I do not know what the price would be.

5. Like last time, the boots would only be whole sizes

6. I do not know what the price would be.

7. This is an interest thread only. No commitments, no money.

8. I do not know what the price would be. I've said this many times so that people understand this fact. However, I'm sure someone will ask anyway. (they have)

I am on the phone now and hopefully will have an update in the next little bit. I have indeed gotten everyone's PMs and will be updating the list.
As always with JW boots, hot chicks have priority and will get a substantial discount. Oh yeah, Bob too.

Ok, here we go. He has to price material for the boots, hence the interest list. He should have that by the end of the week. He already has the patterns (he thinks he does, but right now, can't find them) and the molds. The upside is, all the pattern work and molds have been done so the price will be all materials and labor. I'll keep you updated.

If need be, would any owners of boots from previous runs be willing to send them to the boot guy for patterns, should he not be able to find them? There will be no damage done to the boots and they won't need to be taken apart or anything.
