jump suit material question...

i'm new to the forums, but i've been researching and looking at different boba fett costume sites for a year or two now. I'm finally looking to make my own. I dont have the money to spend on a custom make jumpsuit, so i was looking at the Dickies coveralls, as i've seen many members here use. What i need help with is which ones to get. Looking at long sleeve coveralls, there are several different "weight" twill materials.

Originally i was looking at plain (which i like) #WV200 long sleeve coveralls which are 6 oz twill.

Then there is the Basic #4861 which are 7.5 oz twill blend.....

And lastly, the Deluxe #4870 8.75 oz twill which have the zipper pockets (which i dont think is really necessary, is it?)

In case i haven't been clear, what im trying to ask is, is it good to get a more rugged thicker material? or keep with the thinner ones?

IMO, i would think the thinner ones would be cooler with all the layers (ie. vest, armor....) But in the other case, maybe its better to have the more rugged material that can take a beating....

Figure out what size you need first, then order two of them. Die them at the same time so that they come out the same color. You have to get the COTTON ones to die them. Take the collar off of one and use the other one to cut apart and sew up all the pockets. Then, take the sleeves off of the hacked up one, mod them and sew them on for the short ones over the long ones.

what i need help and opinons on is the fabric weight.....are most of you using a thicker 8 oz cotton twill, or will the 6oz work the best? Thanks.

Would the "Postman Blue" color be a good starting point for an ESB Boba jumpsuit? My thinking was that they are 100% cotton and should fade easily with bleach or RIT color remover.

Would that work? Problems, comments and suggestions plz.
