    IT: JP alum. Thrusters GREEBLIES

The List will CLOSE on Sunday 22nd March...!!!
Dark-Side will start taking payments on 23rd...
(remember the prices are in Euros, € )

Shippings to USA would be around 6€

    Hi guys.

I've been working with DarkSide for a long time designing these greeblies, and I think we've ended up with the correct shape and dimensions (great work DS).

We want to gauge interested for these alum. Directional Thruster Greeblies. This is an INTEREST THREAD ONLY... to know if there is enough people interested in the project, and therefore, we'd enter in production...

After these prototype were made, we've checked a few things on the desing, and mod a few meassures, so the final product will be even more accurate .

Also, I've noted that there are 2 different "activation buttons" styles, seen in the different exhibitions. We've done here the one that is not painted, and that has the center "hole" deeper than the other style that has the center painted red. (I will post pics of this tomorrow when I back work whereI have the pics I mean).

We've also redisign that, and we are going to make the other version (red painted and small hole version).

This is merely to gauge interest, but if enough members seem to be interested in this pieces, this project could be realized and begin shipping.

    PRICES:

    - Kit#12 with 2 Activation Buttons cost 16 euro + shipping

    - kit#13 with 2 Directional Thruster Greeblies cost 20 euro + shipping

Thank you so much forthe comments GBH...

Yes, the level of detail of this piece is very very high... with parts of 0.25mm.

I must admit that I didnt think that it could ended up so nice when I worked on the design

I put you both in the list, let's see if there is enough interest to finally be able to get these pieces in alum

sorry, but I'm having a difficult time picturing where these go on the JP. Would someone please post a pic showing which part they are? I'd look at my JP, but I'm out of the country for awhile.

    Sure,

Here you have a picture of the pieces in detail (after a little time talking, we've decided to make the outter cilidrical one like the red painted version... with the inner hole not so deep as the non-painted version... The prototype we've done is the deeper one).

Check this pic, see the directional thrusters:

I will send a PM to all the interested letting know the prices.

Just to Clarify one thing (in case there is any doubt):

We are NOT going to offer it PAINTED !!! ... just only that we make the "painted version", which has a different shape and sizes ... each one would have to paint theirs by their own (not a big deal)...

But just wanted to clarify in case someone could understand we are going to offer it painted.

It will be as you see in the prototype pics, with the only differences that they will be even more accurate (with some dimension mods after prototype), and will match the "red painted version" .

They are going to be amazing, I promise !

    ok guy, just to clarify:

In the Boba jet pack Ben found 2 different version of the "activation buttons", but i will make only the "painted version". So there is no choise.

So, if you want buy them, please write the Kit# (12 or 13 or both).

I'll close the list the 22-03, so if you want them you have 10 days to think about.

    Thanks

Exactly, we are going to make that version which is on the ESB but is also in the ROTJ (one of the versions, if I'm not wrong)...

I think the non-painted version is another version of the ROTJ, but I guess there are more experts in this than myself... (Art ? )

What's the time-frame on this project? I am interested in at least one set of #12 and at least two sets of #13, possibly as many as 2/4, respectively. I may need to break then up into individual payments, and then have them shipped all in one go, so I can work it into my costuming budget depending on deadlines. I would be able to take care of my definite commitments by the end of April, though, for sure. Which is why I ask when these would be ready. I know when Dark-Side will begin accepting payments, but when he would have to have payments in hand.

Also to buy time to figure out which jet packs my two Femmes are going to be wanting, so I can figure accordingly for parts.
