Each fett has their own opinion on that. ok! I used wof plans and it took about 4.5 hours to get to this point. I will post more pics later and I really think the materials I used helped this go really easy. It was like putting a puzzle together. the material is billboard used for yardsale signs and signs for advertising. Those used for political or payday loan. Ironic those 2 use it. if you see the pics you can tell what I am to discribe. I will post a close as possible step by step on how I did this and materials I used. I will also add measurements of additional materials used. i had several ideas that worked perfectley and saved time on sculpting, cutting, forming and so forth. just to get your minds going here is a great idea i used. you know the piano keys on the top edge of the pack? I have cut errasers to size. you know the 2 colored ones with an angled tip? Cut it in 3 then in half. I haven't put them on yet because I am in the filling stage (bondo). This is where you get even more excited about your creation. It is really starting to take form and look like a real jet pack. Also, for the balls and cone to the exhast. I am using large (perfect size) xmas tree ornaments and renuzit airfresheners for it. The renuzit idea I found on TDH but the ornament idea I found at the dollar store. I am going to cut out a circle and flip it over for the concave part of the ball. Anyway, please tell me what you think so far. Again, I will add more pics and details as I go along.

ok here are 2 more pictures. 1st coat of bondo.

12/31/08 update - Here is where I am. As you can see I have been busy and not staying on track. started the rocket today and will work on bondo tomorrow. This part is difficult. I have started and completed several different projects and worked on the armour and suit for my daughter. Tell me what you think and please let me know if I need to make changes. please do give feedback. Thanks.

Looking great so far, I did not have enough guts to try making one from scratch so I was stuck buying one.
Good luck, I think it will turn out great(y)
