Jet Pack from Golden Armor as ESB

Jetpack from Golden Armor as ESB

Before and after photos, most of the work done by my 14 year old son.

This is a Golden Armour jet pack that ran 185 delivered in the rough..

The rocket, mounted on top of the jet pack, is separate as shown in the lower photo.

It did not come with thruster cones, so I used air freshener tops. Please note that the air fresheners have caps that can be removed. Instead of just glue, these were screw mounted to the thrusters as shown.

I would recomend phillips head screws, instead of the flat head seen here. They were very difficult, even with a drill, to install. The phillips head would have made this much easier.

lorenreale,

Quick question...did your GA kit come with the piece I circled in the pic? Of not what did you use?

THANKS!

Ive seen a lot of people use a Covertech clip circle thing. It's what the Jedi use to keep their lightsabers on their belts.

Okay, it seems to weigh about 6-8 pounds. The rpg is the heaviest. The silver piece on the thrusters is silver paint.

Maybe I'm looking at mine backwards...on mine there is a hole on one side...so maybe thats the side I have to fit to the main body..with dowel?

Hi! Is this jetpack kit from Golden Armor sturdy/high quality? Any problems with it? Good value compared to other kits? I might be looking at getting one. Thanks for any info.
